Irwin in LA
Admittedly this wasn’t one of Irwin’s greatest photo moments.
Irwin met a great deal of people, however it wasn’t until the last day (much like in South Africa) that the camera came out properly.
Episode 3 of Irwin’s travels is now availble in the “Videos” section of this site so do have a good look and a giggle.
Thank you to all the students of California Arts institute that took part in the Irwin Experience

Irwin Travels Again!
It is with regret that I must inform you that there will be no photos or filmic evidence of Irwin being in Belfast last month, him having not actually arrived there. He got on the wrong flight and went somewhere unexpected.
There is, on the other hand, a comic front page for Irwin in Belfast that will be posted soon. But where’s the full comic of ”Irwin in London?” you say…well that will have to wait a while longer. The reason?…Dissertation, baby, oh yeah!
However, here comes the good news; Irwin has been found and will return to form for his next adventure…
-= Irwin in LA =-
That’s right, you may have read an earlier post and discovered that Irwin would be visiting the good people of California…primarily the students of California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). Stay tuned for the next lot of pictures and capers….and a brand new Irwin Video Episode!

Irwin visits S. Africa
As was mentioned before, Irwin did indeed visit the nation of South Africa.
A young couple by the names Joe and Rosie offered to take Irwin to visit family members all the way down there, to show him a land he’s never seen before. How could Irwin refuse!
But oh was there so much drama involved!
Irwin was sent to their home town in England in mid January. But there was so much trouble with the ice and snow that he didn’t reach the house in time. So off Joe and Rosie flew without Irwin for their two weeks in sun.
Just an hour after they leave the house, Irwin comes a knocking on the Gloucester home. “You’re too late”, sighed Joe’s dad, “but I have an idea!”
Irwin was popped in a little brown envelope and sent to the address the couple would be staying at.
It was a long trip, filled with wonders hidden from Irwin by the bubble wrap and brown paper…but a day shy of two weeks later he arrived, ready for the last day of Joe and Rosie’s trip to South Africa. Talk about a close call!
And what a day they had…see the photos of the trip on the page: “Mandela Square & More”

Irwin in London!
Another fantastic visit. This time only for 3 days, so the video may not be quite as full as the Berlin one.
A massive thank you to everyone for making memories with Irwin, to all those who were brave enough to stand infront of Irwin’s video camera (there are a lot of camera-shy people in the world!).
Irwin met a loads of interesting people from around the world. A whole horde of charity collectors from Nottingham University, group of extremely colourful artists in Covent Garden, a headless man, and even the Queen herself!
People from France, Singapore, USA, Pakistan, Australia, India, Scotland, South Africa <– Irwin’s going there next!
There was also a beautiful friends reunited moment between Irwin the Mime and Eva Lou, whom he met in Hamburg over 3 years ago, on his first travels. The improbable does happen my friends.
A few people also got stuck into the Travelling Mime spirit and took masks around London. I’ll put their photos up on the ‘Irwin Masks’ page.
Keep a look out next week for the Irwin in London video.
More to follow, but now it is time for dinner…
